awooooo!!
so um, hi! I'm jade, your silly local (as long as germany is local to you) 20 year old wolfy (ΘΔ / &).
things about myself:
-
I like touching computers in my free time.
for those wanting to know more: I built my current desktop computer myself, have fixed some laptops and phones on my own and am using Linux in my daily life for... quite some time (since 2015). It all basically started out with my interest for computers ever since my early childhood, but unfortunately wasn't able to fall into that rabbithole too deep only until fairly recently.
I very much like to tinker around with all sorts of hard- and software, and I'm also interested in retro computing (aka doing fun stuff with computers from quite some time (>15-20 years) ago)
I used to like to hang out at hackerspaces as well, but unfortunately those kind of collapsed into itself, especially for queer people. -
I like to travel around with trains (a lot, even).
Whenever possible, I try to be outside, travelling around with trains to places I haven't seen yet, and so far I'm enjoying it (despite suffering from how things are when it comes to the rail network infrastructure in Germany).
In case you want to see where I have been, feel free to check out my map of trains and train routes I've taken.
things I did fairly recently:
- an UIC carriage type resolver - basically a small website that can help and tell you what kind of passenger carriage that one (f.ex. DABpbzfa, ABbmdz or Bmmdz) is.
